AI Psychiatric Medication Personalization System MindDose Launches: Antidepressant Treatment Enters Precision Era

UK mental health tech company MindBridge's AI medication system MindDose has received MHRA approval, using genomics, EEG, and behavioral data to generate personalized antidepressant prescriptions. Clinical trials show efficacy rates improved from 40% to 71%.

UK mental health tech company MindBridge announced in June 2028 that its AI psychiatric medication personalization system MindDose received UK MHRA approval.

MindDose generates personalized antidepressant prescriptions using three data dimensions: whole genome sequencing for drug metabolism gene variants, portable EEG devices recording brain activity patterns, and smartphone app data collecting sleep, activity, and social behavior. AI algorithms synthesize this information to select optimal treatments from 12 common antidepressants and 36 dosage combinations.

In a 1,200-patient clinical trial, MindDose achieved 71% treatment efficacy versus 40% for traditional physician-guided prescribing. MindBridge CEO Sarah Collins said: "Psychiatric medication has long relied on trial and error. MindDose aims to get the right answer on the first try."

NHS has added MindDose to its mental health service recommended tools list.
